I left Malaysia at the age of 20 to pursue my studies in Germany, the feeling was very much like a village mouse entering the city. It blew my mind when I was exposed to advanced technology, civilization and intellectual community. After my studies, I stayed back for a few years to work and eventually returned to Asia. I started to work in Singapore. Wearing the hat of a regional technical head, I got exposed to a lot of learning opportunities in the region. In 2019, I decided to return to my hometown in Malaysia, Kluang. It is nostalgic to be back, with culture shock too, because I realized there is room to improve the quality of life and self-value. Back in Europe and Singapore, there are many learning opportunities to enrich oneself during their free time, refresh their mind and give them positive energy. Whereas in Malaysia, we are often flooded with schoolwork, housework and office work only. I believe we Malaysians deserve more than that. This is how Branchie is born, to connect Talents and Learners, to provide Life Changing Learning.
